At EvaluAgent, we believe that trust in our product begins with Security. Today, we are pleased to confirm that we have renewed our Cyber Essentials accreditation. This means we have achieved the five recommended controls for optimal security both within our business, and as a by-product, the services we provide to our customers.
Our Co-Founder, Alex Richards said
“It’s great news that we have been re-accredited by an independent assessor for our Cyber Essentials accreditation. To further enhance our security protocols we are targeting ISO27001 certification by mid-2019.”
The Cyber Essentials scheme is part of the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy and provides an independent assessment of the essential security controls that organisations must have in place to mitigate risks from internet-borne threats.
Cyber Essentials is just one of many checks that we test ourselves against and covers 5 main areas:
- Boundary firewalls and internet gateways
- Secure Configuration
- User access control
- Malware protection
- Patch Management
These help safeguard EvaluAgent against the majority of low to mid-level threats found online.
Meanwhile, the overall framework also implements best practices for mitigating the risk and effect of serious cyber attacks and further demonstrates our practical approach to online security.
Our future security roadmap
With our Cyber Essentials accreditation renewal now approved we are looking ahead to further enhancing and standardising our security protocols with signifiant progress already being made to achieve ISO27001 certification and SOC 2.
